Road safety trainings in Khulo and Shuakhevi municipalities
“Adjaristsqali Georgia” LLC is going to start road safety training in Adjara highland on February 17. Participants of this training will be: representatives of local municipalities, resource centers, school directors, pupils, policemen.
The project envisages training to cover the main risk factors of road safety such as: not using seat belts, driving at high speed, using mobile phone while driving, safety of pedestrians, awareness of pedestrians, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving whilst tired, safety of children. Within the scope of the project, particular attention will be paid to pupils’ education and engagement in different activities.
In order to reduce and prevent risks on Shuakhevi and Khulo municipality roads, the company management decided to implement a large-scale education project on road safety in order to raise awareness of road traffic participants.
Trainings will be conducted by leading organizations working on safety issues: European Alliance for Safe and Sustainable Transport, Fund Partnership for Road Safety and representatives of “Adjaristsqali Georgia” LLC.
Trainings on safety issues will end on February 20.
