Adjaristsqali Georgia LLC awarded local students scholarships

Within the scopes of educational projects, AGL awarded four students scholarships this year.

If having excellent academic outcomes, Irina Kamadadze, Linda Baramidze, Mariam Shainidze, and Salome Surmanidze will receive the scholarship provided by the company before they complete their studies at the university.

The student scholarship program is one of the projects AGL LLC implements in the region in order to support education. Over the operation phase of Shuakhevi HPP, 23 students have already been awarded scholarships.

Adjaristsqali Georgia LLC plans to provide funding for a new group of students during the next academic year as well.

AGL is a joint venture between India’s Tata Power and Norway's Clean Energy Invest, and IFC, a member of the World Bank Group.
