AGL provided funding for social projects of local residents over the course of the community support initiative. 18 small business projects in Village Chanchkhalo and 9 projects in village Kinchauri received funding. Projects vary according to the field of occupation: guesthouses, beekeeping, animal husbandry, etc.
Within the scopes of educational projects, AGL awarded four students scholarships this year. If having excellent academic outcomes, Irina Kamadadze, Linda Baramidze, Mariam Shainidze, and Salome Surmanidze will receive the scholarship provided by the company before they complete their studies at the university.

Adjaristsqali Georgia LLC is a special purpose vehicle set up to develop the hydropower resources on the Adjaristsqali River and its tributaries, in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, in South Western Georgia. AGL is a joint venture between India’s Tata Power and Norway's Clean Energy Invest, and IFC, a member of the World Bank Group. IFC has supported the project since its early development, through IFC InfraVentures, which is an early stage project developer launched by IFC.
