Shuakhevi HPP Hosts Over 100 Students and Educators This Year

This month, students and teachers from the villages of Akhaldaba, Naghvarevi, and Chanchkhalo visited the Shuakhevi HPP. Overall, more than 100 visitors participated in the program during May and June.

For our company, one of the company’s top priorities is maintaining open and transparent communication with all stakeholders. As such, educational visits are held regularly at the Shuakhevi HPP. The goal is to help raise awareness among younger generations and encourage the active participation of local communities in the development of the country’s energy future.

The visitors represented local communities living within the Shuakhevi HPP’s area of operation. Their involvement is especially important to ensure they are well-informed about the operation and significance of the largest renewable energy facilities in their region.

During the visit, company engineers provided a theoretical overview of the plant’s operations and its role within Georgia’s energy system. Visitors also learned about the plant’s strict safety standards, after which they toured the facility equipped with the appropriate safety gear.

We view stakeholder engagement and transparent communication as an integral part of its day-to-day operations. We believe that relationships built on accessibility and openness form the foundation for long-term trust.
