Cascade of Shuakhevi HPP
Adjaristsqali Georgia LLC is a leading energy company in Georgia, owner of the 187 MW Shuakhevi HPP cascade.
On May 28–29, second-year students from the Renewable Energy Management Program at the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA) visited the Shuakhevi HPP Cascade as part of an educational site visit.
Shuakhevi HPP started commercial operation in 2020. The electricity generated by the cascade of hydroelectric power stations is about 5% of the domestic production of the country.
