    Beekeeping Training Commences

    Today, AGL held a presentation at the Khulo Public Library about the next stage of its beekeeping project. This project is being financed by AGL and carried out by the Business Development Center of the Caucasus, the Machakhela Honey Association, Shota Rustaveli State University in Batumi, and Ivane Javakhishvili State University in Tbilisi.

    The goal of this project is to increase bee productivity and returns. As part of the project, beekeepers will learn theoretical and practical beekeeping skills and business skills such as expansion and market reach. Forty residents of Khulo and Shuakhevi will participate in the project. Training will last for six months, and participants will receive beehives and all necessary equipment at the end of the project.
