Cascade of Shuakhevi HPP
Adjaristsqali Georgia LLC is a leading energy company in Georgia, owner of the 187 MW Shuakhevi HPP cascade.
As a result of the partnership between Adjaristsqali Georgia and ProCredit Bank, ProCredit Bank has become the first financial institution in Georgia to obtain a Guarantee of Origin certificate, confirming that the electricity it consumes is fully sourced from renewables.
Shuakhevi HPP started commercial operation in 2020. The electricity generated by the cascade of hydroelectric power stations is about 5% of the domestic production of the country.
