Today, the Minister of Finance of Georgia, Nodar Khaduri, held a meeting with representatives from AGL, in particular with the CFO, Chandrashekhar Damle, director of Government relationship, Nana Gurgenidze and Financial Manager, Tamar Lomidze.
During the meeting, CFO delivered the information to the Minister of Finance about the construction of one of the largest energy project the Shuakhevi HPP. The CFO expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Finance for his support.
According to Nodar Khaduri, the government of Georgia will continue to support the energy project, which is of great strategic importance to the country. He also pointed out, that in the nearest future, he will be able to familiarize himself with the current work, in person.
The Ministry of Finance delivered the information to the CFO about the planned tax reform, which implies introduction of a new profit tax, so called the Estonia model, which will attract more potential investors to Georgia.
