As part of its English education initiatives, AGL is currently sponsoring an English spelling contest for local school students in grades 5-8 from the districts of Keda, Shuakhevi, and Khulo in upper Adjara. In late October, 1,146 local students participated in first-round spelling competitions organized by AGL and administered by local English teachers. From 11-16 November, 158 semi-finalists chosen from these schools participated in district-level competitions. The winners of these competitions will go on to the final round in December. Prizes for the winners will include laptops and tablet computers.

AGL congratulates all of the finalists for their accomplishments and wishes them all the best of luck in the final round of the competition.
