    Nordic Days In Georgia 2024

This year, for the first time, Tbilisi was the venue for the Nordic festival, showcasing the perspectives of Nordic countries on urbanism, innovation, active citizenship, technology, and more. The festival provided Georgian citizens with an opportunity to explore the culture, literature, and innovations of Norway, Finland, Sweden, and Denmark, with attendees having the unique chance to meet the ambassadors of these Scandinavian nations in person.

The Nordic countries have maintained diplomatic missions in Georgia for many years, with Sweden establishing its first embassy in 2010, Norway in 2019, and Denmark in 2022.

The private sector, which is connected with the Nordic countries in its activities, was also represented at the Nordic days. One of the sponsors of the festival was the Norwegian Clean Energy Invest, which, together with Tata Power, owns one of the largest energy companies in Georgia, Adjaristsqali Georgia LLC (AGL).

Satish Bhat, CEO of AGL, participated in a panel discussion on corporate sustainability during the festival. His discourse centered on the significance of sustainable development, addressing both challenges and achievements, while highlighting the company's ongoing initiatives in this area. Adjaristsqali Georgia LLC is a member of the UN Global Compact, with sustainable development firmly ingrained as a company priority.
