Abhijit Bhagat

Abhijit heads the operations at Shuakhevi Hydro Power Plant and brings nearly three decades of experience in the energy sector. He is responsible for safe, reliable, and efficient operation of AGL's hydropower assets while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Prior to joining Adjaristsqali Georgia, Abhijit held leadership positions within the Tata Power, where he contributed across conventional and renewable energy businesses, including thermal power generation, utility operations, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and an extensive experience managing large-scale, grid-connected solar power plants, leading multidisciplinary teams, optimizing asset performance, and delivering complex operational and maintenance programmes.

Abhijit is a Post Graduate in Executive Management with studies in strategic management, finance, operations, international business, and organizational leadership.
