    AGL is starting the second phase of student internship.

    AGL launched a new stream of students for the internship program within the framework of the company’s CSR. The selection process continued for 1 month after which 3 students were selected from the Faculty of Energy from Tbilisi Technical University: Alexander Kometiani, Dato Shantadze and Iness Burjanovi. One of the criteria was a good command of the English language and theoretical knowledge of technical issues. The internship is paid and will be completed at the end of September.

    The engagement of students in construction activities of the Shuakhevi HPP aims at empowering the energy sector of Georgia with professional personnel. Within the internship program, students will undertake theoretical as well as practical pieces of training at the site. Students will rotate in different locations, such as powerhouse, dams and tunnels.

    The first stream of students completed internship in summer 2016.
