AGL has launched an English language training program to help local students prepare for the upcoming national university entrance examination.
AGL is conducting these trainings at five public schools in Khichauri, Khulo, Ghurta, Skhalta, and Didachara.
Before the project started, the Ministry of Education of Adjara selected local English teachers to serve as trainers. On 13-15 October, students took English language tests. These results were used to select 135 students to participate in the program and to divide them into groups based on ability level.
All of the training centers have been equipped with the necessary books and equipment, and local schools have supplied each teacher with a computer. AGL is also providing transportation in the form of chartered minibuses and regularly monitors the training process.
