Student internship at Shuakhevi HPP to commence
Adjaristsqali Georgia LLC (AGL) announce an internship program at Shuakhevi HPP. As decided by the company’s management, 20 students will have an opportunity to attend an internship in the company on yearly basis.
Within the scope of the internship program, students will be displaced at different locations: powerhouse, dams, intake, they will work under the supervision of electro-mechanical engineers. Students will learn about different aspects of electricity generation, they will be acquainted with working porcedures on high voltage facilities, learn about safety standards and practice, they will be able to apply their knowledge in practice and improve their skills. On successful completion of the internship, the students will receive Internship certificate from AGL.
Internship at Shuakhevi HPP will last for a month for each student. Interns will also get a scholarship. Students who do not live in Adjara region, will be provided with lodging and boarding arrangements at the company’s campsite.

The Georgian energy sector needs highly qualified specialists in the technical field, our goal is to support the development of the energy sector and enable future generations to gain practical experience in one of the largest energy projects of the country. We announce an internship program at one of the largest HPP in Georgia and looking forward to hearing from interested students” – stated CEO of AGL, Rakesh Naik.
The Company’s management has already met with students of local vocational schools and provided them with information on the operation of Shuakhevi HPP as well as the internship program; meetings with university students are already planned. An internship program at Shuakehvi HPP will start in May and will continue throughout the year.
