• Planning & Control of Departmental Capital & Operational Expenditure;

• Monitoring & Maintenance  of all civil structures associated with Shuakhevi & Skhalta HPP including Headworks and maintain documented records. Provide analysis of the data collected and report any abnormality in time. Plan corrective actions to rectify any defects observed in civil structures.

• Ensure all statutory compliances related to civil structures including safety & environment and reporting to the government authorities / Financial institutions etc.

• Ensure availability of all as built drawings of all civil structures in the project

• Develop annual maintenance plan for the civil structures and ensure compliance as per the plan

• Ensure compliance to the requirements of financial institutions and submit reports as & when required. 

• Develop civil structures modifications and repairs plan as needed to optimize the operation;

• Ensure upkeep and regular maintenance of Dams including flushing etc, PH buildings, internal roads, SDAs, residential camps including all civil structures.

• Ensure & maintain aesthetic view of the premises

• Attend defects related to civil nature at all locations as per request from O & M staff

• Compliance to safety & legal requirements and ensuring availability of appropriate safety resources;

• Provide technical assistance and support to crews performing maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, modification or installation work on hydroelectric facilities;

• Develop contractors / Vendor base to provide services related to civil and infrastructure.

• Prepae annual O & M and capital expenditure Budget and ensure adherence to the same.

Eligibility:

1. Bachelors / Masters Degree in Civil Engineering

2. Minimum 5 years of experience in similar industry working on Civil experience of Civil structures design, implementation and maintenance.

3. Knowledge about Industrial Safety practices 

4. Proficiency in soft skills – MS Office , Auto CAD etc

5. Knowledge about Contracts Management 

6. Should have good communication and writing skills both in Georgian and English languages

Request to Indicate Job title in E-mail Subject Operational Engineer

1.      Responsible for effective monitoring and operations of Hydro turbine generators, 35KV and 220KV Switchyard and Auxiliary Systems.

2.      Should able to conversant with operation of hydroelectric plant equipment, such as pumps, valves, gates, fans, electric control boards, or battery banks.

3.      Should be conversant with automated control systems such as DCS / SCADA for operations of HPP equipment along with associated auxiliary equipment, Transformers, Switchgear, HV / EHV Switchyard Operations

4.      Record and monitor all parameters and alarms / signals pertaining to the HPP operations including reservoir water levels, temperatures, flow rates and other monitoring parameters and immediate communication to relevant authorities in case of abnormalities.

5.      Carry out all the operations as per Safety procedures and tagging systems.

6.      Ensure implementation of safety measures to reduce health and safety hazards. Compliance to safety & legal requirements.

7.      Handle the operation emergencies and normalize the system in the shortest possible time.

8.      Effective communication and co-ordination with GSE / Dispatch center and other Divisions / Departments as per the requirement.

9.      Daily analysis of Energy balance, station aux consumption, Water rate, etc. and take necessary corrective/preventive actions.

10.   Implementation of action plans for various initiatives such as Aux. Consumption reduction, reduction in water rate.

11.   Effective water management for maximization of generation.

12.   Plan the generation, prepare the generation schedule and communication of the generation schedule to dispatch center/GSE or other dept.

13.   Recording defects in Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) module, generate MIS reports as required from time to time.

14.    Implementing various initiatives like 5S, and other quality initiatives.

Eligibility criteria

• B.E./ B. Tech (Electrical/Instrumentation/Mechanical) with 4 to 12 years’ experience in Operation in hydro power plant/Thermal power plant is preferable.
• Electrical Engineering basics, Operation of the generating station equipment including hydraulic equipment, basics of Instruments used in the generating stations is desirable.
• Should have good analytical, interpersonal & communication skills
• Should have working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point.
• Should able to work in shifts.
• Good English writing and  speaking skills required.
